Stealthy warship USS Zumwalt to test its weapons
USA is preparing a new stealthy warship DDG 1000 (USS Zumwalt). Soon, it will undergo so called ship activation process that includes testing of its weapons assembly of various systems. The ship is less visible to enemy radars thanks to its shape.

US has a new fighter jet coming. It is F-35A Lightning II and it was officially declared as being ready for combat. Nevertheless, it is still going to be developed and will receive many software updates that should improve its capabilities.

Modern warfare will bring some interesting stuff. Raytheon company is already trying to use 3D-printing technology to create parts of missiles. That allows them to manufacture the missiles much faster.

Electromagnetic railguns being developed for US Navy
Electromagnetic railguns are under development for some time and US Navy considers to use them in the future. Such weapons are extremely expensive but their shots are relatively cheap. The missiles may achieve speeds up to Mach 7.5.

US Army plans helicopters with laser weapons
Laser weapons will not be only on jet fighters because Special Operation Commands plans to test these weapons on helicopters too. We can expect laser weapons on famous Apache helicopters in the near future.

US Navy will release Blackwing drones from underwater
